I’ve made a few different cardboard DIYS over the past few years, and this is for sure one of my faves. All I used was:
One thing you should know about any activity/craft/DIY I make… it’s only worthwhile to me if the kids actually spend more time playing with it/using it than the time I took to make it.
This took me about 45 minutes, while the kids played in the same room. I added some fun details, I for sure could have added more… but I didn’t want this to turn into a 2 or 3 hour project.
I don’t have a specific “plan” in mind when I start to make these things in terms of the construction… I just look at the cardboard that I have and start piecing things together.
But one thing that’s important is that I always follow my kids’ interests (usually always involving vehicles) and then go from there.
Start saving cardboard (if you don’t already) because making something like this is WAY more affordable than buying new toys and is JUST as fun and exciting for the kids.
